How It Works
Signer requirements:

Schedule Your signing:

Choose the number of documents you need notarized, then select a convenient time for your session.

We'll confirm your appointment using your name, email, and phone number - all handled with strict confidentiality.
Secure Document upload:

Upload your documents at least one hour prior to your appointment.

You'll receive an email link to access your virtual notarization.

All documents are encrypted and deleted within 24 hours of your completed sessions.
Initiating Your Appointment:

10 minutes before your appointment, a secure access link will be sent to the email you provided. Follow the prompts to verify your identification and meet with your notary online.

Another ID check will be done with your notary at the time of the signing.

After your signing is completed, your documents will be available immediately.

Notary Services & Pricing:
In-Person Notorization:
$10 per signature (Michigan State-regulated fee)
Travel Fee: Based on distance - quoted before your appointment.
Remote Online Notorization (RON):
Up to $25 per notarization (per Michigan law)
Platform fees may apply and will be disclosed before your appointment begins
(All fees comply with Michigan Notary Public Act 238 of 2003, as amended)

Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Blackridge Notary Co., we value your time and ours. Each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, and we commit to being punctual, prepared, and professional. To ensure fairness and efficiency , please review our cancelation, no-show, and refund policy below.
Appoitnment Deposits
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit confirms your time slot and will be applied toward your total service fee at completion of your appointment. Deposits must be paid the time of booking. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
No-Shows
Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in:

Forfeiture of the deposit

A new deposit is required to reschedule any future appointment.

More than 10 minutes late to your appointment is considered a no show.
*Clients who repeatedly no-show maybe required to prepay in full before future bookings*
Cancellations
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance your scheduled appointment.

Cancellations made with 24 hours' notice or more will retain credit toward a future appointment within 30 days.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hour's notice will result in the forfeiture of the $25 deposit.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of notarial services, COMPLETED NOTARIZATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PERFORMED. refunds are only issued under the following conditions:
1. The appointment was canceled with proper notice (24+ hours) and no service was rendered.
2. The notary was unable to complete the service due to circumstances on our end.
Refunds are processed using the original payment method. Please allow 5 - 7 business days for your bank to reflect the transaction
Requesting a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within 3 days of the original appointment date to: Destiney@blackridgenotary.com
Exceptions

Delayed due to client error, incomplete documents, or identification issues

Your Documents are encrypted during upload and securely stored. Blackridge Notary Co. does not share or sell your information. Uploads are reviewed only for the purpose of completing your notarization.
